People of Kensington, people of ward 66 and now ward 118 as well.
There was a time that Kensington was only ward 66 but obviously the ANC policies is divide and conquer.
Just imagine east and West Berlin, just look at what difference between the divided city, one side of Berlin prosperous and vibrant, the other side grey and decaying. That’s what’s happening here with Kensington. Imagine one side of Kensington looking like yeoville and the other side looking like it does now.
I understand that when one looks at Kensington one always says look at our service delivery; look how bad our suburb is looking.
But I must say I have seen disaster, I have seen what a area controlled by the ANC looks like, just take a stroll trough Yeoville and see what Yeoville once a prime place, for all the arty people, night owls, and yuppie people to hang out, looks like now.
Yeoville used to look like Mellville, a vibrant place with restaurants, cafes and all kinds of entertainment in Rocky street. I still remember eating a schnitzel at 3 am in rocky street.
But now a part of Yeoville has become part of ward 66, so obviously I took a drive to see what the new part of ward 66 would look like. I was shocked! Yeoville is like a massive sheebeen, in one block there are dozens of sheebeens, drug dealers in every corner, rampant crime grime and dirt reigns.
If I win ward 66, I am going to have a massive job cleaning up the area.
So I say Kensington is like a diamond in the middle of a pile of coal.
Yes there are problems in Kensington, but again its problems that can be solved with good people at the helm, and I guess that in a sense the ANC might have just shot themselves in the foot, they have provided Kensington with the opportunity of having two ward counselors.
Imagine just for a second, Kensington being run by not one, but two awesome counselors. I mean, most Kensingtonians already know me by reputation, trust me I believe that Alison, the other DA counselor candidate for ward 118, is just as good.
We already formed a partnership amongst ourselves to keep Kensington united, to make sure that service delivery is the same for the whole of Kensington.
I have a passion for what I do, I have a passion for fighting for what I believe in, and that would be service delivery. I am entitled to that, I pay rates and I pay taxes and so do you all.
I will serve everybody regardless of politics.

Kensingtonians it’s in your hands, keeping Kensington united is in your hands.
There are over six hundred members in I love Kensington face book. If you all vote, that’s 600 votes and if you get your partner to vote with you, that’s 1200 votes and if each of you bring a friend, that will add up to 1800 votes, if your friend brings a friend, that would just be an added bonus.
We can win, we can keep Kensington united. Make the effort, bring a friend, talk to people you know about what’s going on.
People of Kensington don't let all my hard work go to waste, I have not finished what I have started. Imagine how a sculptor would feel if he had created a beautiful sculpture and once it was finished some guy painted graffiti all over it, that's how I feel about ward 66.
I truly know, that by Me wining ward 66 and Alison wining ward 118, we as a team could change these two great Wards that being... Bezvalley/Bertrams kensington Malvern Observatory and Yeoville these are now areas that fall under ward 66 and ward 118 we both have a job and we cannot wait to tackle them.
